1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Piepie, you agree to these Terms of Service. Piepie is a subscription service providing AI-powered educational chat experiences for children, accessible under parental supervision and with parental consent.

2. Account Requirements

Parent accounts require Google authentication. Users must be 18 or older to create a parent account. Children access Piepie through parent-generated access codes and do not require their own accounts. Parents are responsible for all activity on their account and their children's sessions.

3. Subscription and Payment

Piepie is offered on subscription plans. Subscriptions are billed monthly. All payments are processed through Polar. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period. Refunds may be requested within 7 days of initial purchase.

4. Acceptable Use

Piepie is designed for children's educational and conversational use. Users may not attempt to circumvent safety filters, use the service to generate harmful content, share access codes publicly, or use the service for commercial purposes without authorization.

5. Safety and Content

While Piepie employs advanced safety technology, we cannot guarantee 100% filtering of all potentially inappropriate content. Parents should maintain appropriate oversight of their children's technology use. Piepie's safety systems are designed to reduce, not eliminate, risk.

6. Privacy and COPPA

Our Privacy Policy, including COPPA compliance details, is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Children's data is protected under applicable law and our privacy policy.

7. Intellectual Property

Piepie's software, design, content, and brand are owned by Piepie AI. Conversation content generated by users remains owned by users. AI-generated responses are provided for personal use only.

8. Limitation of Liability

Piepie is provided "as is." We make no warranties about the accuracy of AI responses. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the subscription in the prior 12 months. We are not liable for any content that bypasses our safety systems despite best efforts.

9. Termination

We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time through the dashboard.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms with notice to registered users. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
